The Brainerd Lakes Outreach Program is a compassionate humanitarian organization dedicated to providing essential food assistance.
We have an unwavering mission of feeding our Minnesota neighbors. Located in the Brainerd Lakes area (Nisswa), our vision is that 80-90% of the meals we package will be distributed within a 60-80 mile radius of Nisswa. The remaining 10-20% can be distributed to greater Minnesota, used for disaster relief and/or distributed internationally.

We package 10 different meals that are nutrient dense, including protein, vitamins, and minerals. They only require 3-8 cups of boiling water, and each packet contains 6 servings.

Today is a great day for a golf tournament!
We are hole #17 and we are having a great time sharing information with golfers about our work with Camp Red.
Camp Red is an annual camp experience for kids and their families that have experience burn trama. The camp takes place at Camp Knutson.
Creating partnerships is critical for non profit success and we are honored to be part of Firefighters For Healing Golf Tournament.
Highlights so far: we toured the Healing Center - wow! If you do not know about this and you are firefighters, emergency services, police, sheriff, state troopers, ambulance services - Firefighters for Healing is here to support you.
While burn unit families are key, they will also help out if space is available at the center for other health related stays, etc.
Take time to read about this organization and their founder’s story. Jake was a firefighter that was trapped in a back draft and severely burned. Jake is out here today, along with amazing people that work with this organization.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be here today and for the work that we do with Camp Red every year on Father’s Day.
