In the U.S., more than 1 in 6 children don’t know where their next meal is coming from and often go to bed hungry. No child, regardless of age, should be worried about hunger.

The Brainerd Lakes Outreach Program is a compassionate humanitarian organization dedicated to providing essential food assistance.
Our unwavering mission is feeding families and enriching lives. Located in the Brainerd Lakes area, 80-90% of the meals we package will be distributed right here in Minnesota. The remaining 10-20% will be used for disaster relief and/or international distribution.

We package 10 different meals that are nutrient dense, including protein, vitamins, and minerals. They only require 3-8 cups of boiling water, and each packet contains 6 servings.

2024 Fishing to End Hunger Tournament

We are looking for volunteers to help with the following dates:
Thursday August 1: 2 people helping with mobile distribution 9:30-11 am Brainerd
Thursday August 1: 1-2 people helping with mobile distribution 1-2:30 pm Backus
Monday August 5: 3-4 people that can lift to help load a trailer for a remote pack
Tuesday August 6: 3-4 people that can help us set up for a remote pack in Brainerd. Must be able to lift. Estimated time: 8:30 am - 10 am
Thursday August 8: 4:30 -6:30 pm helping serve at the Soup Kitchen in Brainerd

Brainerd- The Bridge on 7th (1926 S 7th St.) from 2-3pm
